We will replace your equipment on a new for old basis so in the event of a loss you will receive either a direct new replacement or the latest equivalent model. It is therefore important to check the current replacement value of your equipment on an annual basis to ensure your sums insured are adequate. If you are VAT registered, this can be deducted from your total.
close answerNo. We do not need an inventory or specified list of your equipment regardless of the value of any individual item. However, in the unfortunate event of a claim, your personally appointed loss adjuster will request a copy to ensure your sums insured are adequate to cover the replacement cost of all your equipment, on a new for old basis.
